Finke Desert Race – The Most Extreme Desert Race In Australia

The Tatts Finke Desert Race, commonly referred to as “Finke” is considered one of the biggest annual sporting events in the Northern Territory. Over the years the race has built a reputation for being one of the most difficult off-road courses, held in one of the most remote places in the world, Alice Springs.

The race is a two day off-road, multi-terrain race stretching from Alice Springs to the small Aputula (Finke) community. The race has a number of category classes including bikes, cars, buggies and quads. Finke 2013 is set to take place from Saturday 8th – Sunday 9th June and is sure to be action packed.
